NearSay writer Toni Cruthirds experienced THE RIDE for herself, calling it “a character with whom the guides interact.”
“It is a booming voice reminiscent of the Wizard of Oz who is hiding behind a dark curtain in the back of the bus,” she goes on to write.
That’s a fun little metaphor, and it hits the nail right on the head for how you might feel while inside the huge tour bus – a little like Dorothy in the vast and brightly colored Emerald City.
“An elaborately timed and high-tech experience, I recommend The Ride for first time visitors to the city or anyone jaded who needs a reminder of the excitement that New York inspires in people from across the globe.”
